THE QUEEN MUM

Well au revoir Queen Mum
You made a hundred and one
And showed what could be done
With a long life well run
Yet the mystery remains
Amidst the claims and counter claims
Where were you born? Did you reveal
It to a future king and seal
His admiration? Was the deal
A secret lay between your powers
That you were born by roadside flowers?
